Legendary Gospel Group The Bolton Brothers Coming To Muskegon
GBS Community Outreach and New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church are excited to announce The Bolton Brothers Live in Concert. This one night only gospel concert will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at Muskegon High School Auditorium; 20 W. Southern Street in Muskegon, MI at 6:00pm. The evening will also include performances by some of West Michigan’s most renowned gospel artists including The Christian Brothers of Muskegon, MI; The Five Keys of Battle Creek, MI; The New Spiritual Reflections of Grand Rapids, MI and Stric Strickland of Kalamazoo, MI.
Destined to be a glorious time, the event’s goal is to bring the community together for a time of unity, praise and worship. This concert also serves as an awesome opportunity to save souls and bring believers together for a time of praise. The Bolton Brothers are a national gospel group known for hit songs such as “Will You Be Ready,” “Bless the Name of Jesus,” “Just to Know Him,” and “The Lord Done Delivered Me.” You are invited to join us as The Bolton Brothers along with other gospel greats take the stage to put on their Highest Praise and share some testimonies.

The Bolton Brother,Revered Linwood Bolton Sr. and his wife, Leola Bolton, brought 20 children into the world — 8 sons and 12 daughters. 5 of those sons went on to become ministers. From those children came the birth of the gospel group known as the Bolton Brothers, which includes members Jerry, L.W. Jr., James and Ray Bolton. The Bolton Brothers completed a debut album in 1996, Live in Mobile. It was followed 2 years later by the release of Live in Mobile, Vol. 2. 2001 saw the release of the group’s 3rd album, Revival in Atlanta. The Bolton Brothers are known for their hit singles “Bless the Name of Jesus,” “The Lord Done Delivered Me,” “If He Still Cares,” “Will You Be Ready,” and “Let It Be Real.”
